The Bauer Investment Group was started in late 2007. Just two years later we have four specialty sites with over 200 brands, 8,000 individual products, and nearly 40,000 items in inventory on any given day. We are a Texas corporation with our headquarters in Richardson, Texas. However we have shipping facilities nationwide and a call center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The Bauer Investment Group is focused on three elements that we feel differentiate us from our online competition.
1. We believe strongly that customer service is the cornerstone of any great business and we strive to have the best customer service in each industry that we enter.
2. We believe that through the use of technology we have the ability to help our customers be well informed. We further believe that they have a right to an opinion and that their opinion of our products is more important than ours or any other industry proffessional. This is why we allow our users to post video reviews of their own onto the product description page of each individual product.
3. We firmly believe that our customers deserve the best products at the lowest prices and we strive to offer the lowest prices on the internet. While we can't have the lowest price on everything we try to make them as competitive as possible offering our customers the best possible value they can find.
Not Your Mamas Knives was launched in the early summer of 2008. Our goal was to offer the best knives in the world at the lowest possible prices. Not Your Mamas Knives features knives that we think are cool and are of the highest quality. 
Not Your Mamas Optics was started in October of 2008. It currently features the best in scopes, optics and telescopes. This site currently claims nearly 450 products with over 1200 items in inventory. In the Spring of 2009 it will be adding another 35 manufacturers and nearly 1200 new products.
Not Your Mamas Lights was launched in March of 2009 and features the best in flashlights and tactical lighting. This site currently claims nearly 1400 products with over 12000 items in inventory.
